Farnam Courts - Phase II Low Rise
New Haven, CT
TDA has been assisting the Housing Authority of New Haven with master planning and managing affordable housing for 20 years. This master plan in the city’s Mill River District calls for replacement of a distressed 270 unit downtown public housing facility with new off site and on site mixed income residences.
Specific amenities for Phase II include 110 new construction family townhouses a new on-site park, computer lab, recreational, retail and community center.
The final design of Farnam Courts used both mid-rise and low-rise typologies to address intricate phasing requirements.
