Orient Heights

TDA worked with the Boston Housing Authority's Office of Asset Management to provide technical assistance in a wide range of disciplines including feasibility analysis, site planning, design review and construction oversight.

As part of this assignment TDA did preliminary studies on a number of the BHA's largest properties including the 314 unit Orient Heights development in East Boston.

Given a very tight timeframe, TDA produced a series of basic alternatives that analyzed the impact of on density and quality of life issues inherent in decisions regarding the existing infrastructure of walls, roads and utilities.

These kinds of abbreviated planning tasks are facilitated by our use of state-of-the-art computer technology integrating 3-D software with aerial photography.
